We're starting to show how team collaboration works in the announced Chaos Control Workspaces. Today we’ll talk about adding members to a team
About Members Licenses
Please note that people you are adding to a Team Worskpace don't need to have personal PRO licenses to be able to access all of the app's features within the Workspace. So it's a one license for all participants within the Workspace.
Each Workspace has a dedicated section for managing the people who have access to it:
When adding a new member, a simple dialog opens, prompting you to enter the member's display name and select their role:
After adding a member in this way, they will appear in the system with a "Pending" status. Once they follow the invitation link and accept it, their status will change to "Active".
Please note: you can assign tasks to this member right away — no need to wait for them to activate their access:
This way, the member will see the tasks as soon as they confirm their participation — there’s no need to wait for them to accept before assigning tasks.
How Adding to a Workspace Works for the Invited User
From the perspective of the member you’re adding to the workspace, it’s also very simple. If you send them an invitation link, when they open it they’ll see the following page:
Immediately after logging in, the member will gain access to the workspace in the web version of Chaos Control, as well as in the desktop and mobile apps.
Alternatively, if the member already uses Chaos Control, they can simply enter the join code directly in the app:
As you can see, the process is straightforward and hassle‑free for everyone involved. We also support adding multiple members in a single dialog.
Advantages of our approach:
Flexible invitations – you don’t even need to know the invitee’s email address. Just send them a link via messenger.
Start working right away – you can assign tasks even before the member accepts the invitation. They’ll join and pick up where things left off without delay.
By the way, Chaos Control AI will be able to reassign all of a member’s tasks to another member in bulk — we’ll tell you more about that in a separate post.
