We'd like to show you an alternative way to view tasks in a category within a Team Workspace — using Kanban boards. This feature will be available in the initial iteration of Team Workspaces in version 2.14.9 later this week. You can learn more about Workspaces and check out our roadmap here
For tasks in Chaos Control Workspaces, there are 4 available statuses:
In progress – a "regular" active task awaiting completion
Resolved – a task that the assignee has completed and marked with the corresponding status
Closed – a task which completion has been confirmed by either an admin or a task creator
Backlog – a "someday maybe" task. It is not considered active until moved to the appropriate section.
The Kanban board displays tasks across all four statuses on a single screen, allowing you to drag and drop them between columns — automatically updating their status:
This task view is an alternative to the classic one — where tasks in a single status (e.g., Active) are displayed on screen:
A full-featured Kanban board will be available in the desktop app (and in the web version) starting with the next update which is version 2.14.9.
