This Tool is Awesome!
There are plenty of productivity apps out there, and while many can help you get things done, Chaos Control has become my most important tool. It’s simple enough to learn quickly but powerful enough to organize all my tasks and projects effectively.
I started with the Chaos Box—super simple. In just a few seconds, you can add a task without overthinking. Then, I set up my folder system and created a few projects, though I haven’t used them much yet—I’m sure they’ll come in handy later.
One feature I really love is Contexts. I created multiple contexts, such as Work Type, People, Clients, Learning, etc., and now I can easily link my tasks to the right context.
Another great function is Daily Planning—it’s incredibly easy to use and gives me a clear, actionable plan for my day.
The Time Tracking option is also a game-changer. I’ve recently started logging all my daily activities following the book Buy Back Your Time by Dan Martell, and Chaos Control provides the perfect solution for this.
I also appreciate how intuitive it is to set up repeating tasks. It’s much more flexible and visually appealing than similar apps I’ve used. For example, I even track my daily water intake with it!
I use both the desktop version and the iOS app. While the desktop version has some minor issues, they’re not deal-breakers, and I’m confident future updates will improve them.
I’m really happy I found this app—it’s a great tool for anyone looking for a structured yet flexible way to manage their tasks and time.
