About Perplexity PRO
This model works as follows: when you submit a request, it first searches the Internet for relevant information and then processes the results using either an OpenAI or Claude model, leveraging the most up-to-date version available at that moment.
Perplexity PRO is ideal for answering complex questions, creating summaries of audio and video content, and further processing text transcripts, as described here.

In short, the key difference is that the standard model answers the question correctly but in a fairly generic way, while Perplexity PRO goes a step further by analyzing successful real-world practices and providing a detailed action plan based on actual examples.

Model selection is available to users with a PRO 1000 or Unlimited AI licenses. Each request to Perplexity PRO consumes 15 AI requests.
The higher request consumption is due to Perplexity's pricing model. It is the only way for us to bring this powerful technology to Chaos Control. At the same time, we offer lifetime licenses, something that most competing solutions do not provide. In our view, PRO 1000 currently offers the best value available on the market.
The pricing of the standard AI model remains unchanged (one question = one request).
