Task Visibility Settings
Basic Task Visibility Settings
You'll find these in Settings while inside a Team Workspace:
Workspace Admins can choose from three task visibility levels for members:

Type 1Full visibility & editing
All tasks are visible and editable by everyone. This setting works well for small teams and families where collaboration is open. Any member can see all tasks and do anything with them.

Type 2Full visibility, restricted editing
All members can see all tasks, but can only edit tasks where they are the admin, assignee, creator, or editor.

Type 3Restricted visibility
Members can only see tasks where they are the creator, assignee, or editor.
Task Editors
If you assign a task to someone and they reassign it to another person (for example, to their own subordinate), the original assignee retains editor rights. This means they can still see and modify the task, even though they are no longer the assignee. You can also manually add or remove editors for any task:
This is especially useful when using Type 3 visibility settings in larger companies, where tasks are frequently reassigned and you still need to maintain oversight when delegation occurs.
