Team Workspaces Quickstart
In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of setting up a Team Workspace, inviting your colleagues, and starting to build an efficient business communication workflow with Chaos Control.
As a reminder, the lowest-ever price for the Lifetime Team Workspace License is available through July 17. It includes all current and future Team Workspace features. Starting July 18, the price will increase by 10%, and on July 28, the lifetime license will be discontinued (subscription plans will remain available). If you already have a PRO license, email us at support@chaos-control.app, and we'll send you a promo code for an additional discount.
Creating Your Chaos Control Account
First, create your personal Chaos Control account if you haven't already. If you already have one, you can skip this step.

On desktop: click the Account button in the upper-left corner and choose Login or Create Account.
On mobile: open the side menu using the button in the upper-left corner, select Your Account, then tap Create Account.
In the dialog that appears, enter your email address and choose a password. This creates your Chaos Control account, which will automatically become the administrator account for your future Team Workspace.

We also recommend adding a profile photo. It makes collaboration with other people feel much more personal.
Creating a Team Workspace
Once your account has been created, you'll see an Add Team button in the same side menu.
Click it and fill in the basic information about your workspace.
After clicking Save, your workspace will be created and will appear in the list of available workspaces in the Chaos Control side menu.
By default, you'll become the workspace administrator and can immediately start creating tasks.
Adding Team Members
Workspace members are managed through the Members section in the workspace menu.
Click Add Member, enter the person's name, and choose their role.
The app will generate an invitation code, which you can copy and send to the new team member.
Once they activate the code, they'll appear in the workspace member list.
Joining a Team Workspace
The invited team member can join the workspace by clicking Join Team in the same side menu.
After entering the invitation code, they'll instantly become part of your workspace and can start receiving and assigning tasks.

We strongly recommend that new members set their real name and add a profile photo to make collaboration more comfortable for everyone.
Assigning Tasks
Creating tasks in a Team Workspace works almost exactly like creating tasks in your personal workspace. Click New Task, describe the task, and select an assignee.
Optionally, you can also set a due date and priority. After saving the task, the assignee will receive an email notification.
From the email notification, users can open the task directly in Chaos Control.

One important detail: every edit to a task automatically sends email notifications to everyone involved (workspace admins, the assignee, and editors). This keeps everyone informed in real time. For example, when a task is completed, the creator will immediately know it's time to review the result.
Business Communication with Chaos Control Chats
Once you're comfortable assigning tasks, we recommend switching your team communication to the built-in Chaos Control business messenger.
At the moment, Team Workspaces include a general team chat and private direct messages between members. In the next update (version 2.16), you'll also be able to create separate channels with custom participant lists.

Using Chaos Control Chats offers several important advantages.

First, there's no need to pay for a separate business messenger. Chats are included with your Team Workspace license alongside all other collaboration features.

Second, chats are available on every platform and avoid the problems associated with many third-party messengers, which may be blocked in some regions.

Finally, Chaos Control Chats are already integrated with Team Workspace tasks. For example, clicking a task link in a conversation opens the task directly from the chat. Likewise, any chat message can be turned into a task with a single click.

And this is just the beginning. Upcoming updates will add file sharing, Chaos Control AI participation in conversations, and much more.
Next Steps
To start collaborating with your team:

1. Create a Team Workspace.
2. Invite your team members.
3. Start assigning tasks and communicating in chats.

Within just a few days, you'll notice a dramatic improvement in the way your team works together.
